Lauren Ehrenfeld

Lauren was born in New York and grew up in Northern California. Growing up, she was either on a tennis court or at a sewing machine. Upon graduating from UCLA, Lauren followed her interests in fashion and moved to New York to attend Parsons School of Design and to intern for the menswear designer, Bill Robinson. Lauren assisted Paul Cavaco on the Steven Meisel shot campaigns for Bill Robinson. Lauren realized her desire to style the whole image, rather than to design the individual garment. Oribe and Paul Cavaco helped Lauren to secure a position under Candy Pratts Price in the Harper’s Bazaar sittings department.

Upon moving back to Los Angeles to freelance, Lauren’s styling career has encompassed all aspects of fashion, advertising, celebrity dressing and commercials. She has been inspired through the years by helping brands conceptually build their images through their advertising. Lauren’s vast styling career has included such projects as cosmetic campaigns for Covergirl and Clinique, music videos for Aerosmith, sports and celebrity commercials with Zack Snyder, clothing campaigns such as the original Old Navy commercials with Carrie Donovan, as well as print and film advertising with Peggy Sirota.

Her design interests in the recent years have grown to include architectural design. Though, along with her daughter, Lauren goes back to her roots and still gets kick out of an afternoon of playing dress up!
